Supported Independent Living

Supported Independent Living (SIL) is a shared living experience for people with disability who have SIL funding in their NDIS plan. SIL covers support for personal care needs and participating in domestic tasks, including indoor and outdoor activities.

Disability Accommodation

Specialist disability accommodation (SDA) is a range of housing designed for people with extreme functional impairment or very high support needs. SDA dwellings have accessible features to help residents live more independently and allow other supports to be delivered better or more safely.

Respite Care (STA)

Short Term Accommodation including respite gives extra support to carers by allowing carers to take a break for a period of time. Respite can be from a few days to few weeks. To know more about our Respite care services, contact us.

Assistance with Personal Tasks

Candid Care can help with a range of personal activities including Showering, Dressing, Personal hygiene & grooming, going to the toilet, getting in and out of bed, moving around the house, Meal preparation, assisting with eating and Attending events or planning your day.

Community Participation/ Community Access

We provide NDIS participants with support to meet goals relating to participating in community, social, recreational activities or spend time with friends. A support worker will be always there for participants ‘assistance to take part in social and community activities.

Assistance in Travel/ Transport

Transport supports include personal transport-related aids and equipment, or training to use public transport. We can also support your transportation requirement for several activities like taking you for medical appointments, getting your shopping, work and place of education, and around your vicinity.

Daily Tasks/ Shared Living

Assistance With Daily Tasks/Shared Living focuses on developing and enhancing domestic skills that allow clients to live autonomously. It can also be delivered within shared living such as units or host family arrangement.

Home Modification

Home modifications are changes to the structure, layout or fittings to your home that are required to enable safe access and move around frequently used areas in their home as a result of a person’s disability.

Assist Life Stage Transition

Transitions to a new stage of life is challenging for anyone, and especially if you have a disability it can all be daunting. Our Support team specialise in helping participants through these transitional stages.
